Tapas is going to shut down at some unannounced date. Radish Fiction (where I never published anything, to be clear), shut down at the end of 2025.
Kindle Vella was destroyed. Wattpad's short-lived Yonder never made it to mainstream. And Wattpad was bought by a Korean conglomorate, too. Whose to say that isn't going to be next?
Webserial sites keep being purchased and then nuked. We're living in an increasing age of global fascism (I know, I said the bad word) and censorship. If things do well, the capitalist buy it out, run it into the ground for some quick cash, and then burn it. Rinse and repeat.
Over the years, I've written a couple of stories on places like Tapas. I've gone through a fair few usernames, too. And I thought, it's high time I collect them all on a site I control.
